Insteon Products

I've been using Insteon modules in my several properties since the company was founded approximately 2005. I find them to be reliable and allow me to creatively control my several properties. I switched from X10 automation, for several reasons: 1) the more devices or modules are installed, the stronger the signal; 2) most of the products are dual band (except the I/O Link 2450 which is only plug-in and high-voltage) all the others are high voltage and and Radio Frequency Communication; 4) there is also low voltage, useful for garage door openers, electronic locks and water supply valves) 5) both switches and outlets fit in decora gang boxes; 6) there are motion detectors that can be added to scenes or programs and linked to other devices; and 7) I can program and link all of the devices myself without an electrician or consultant.

I use Universal Devices EISY as a hub. I find it is powerful and its Administrative Console is very easy to program and set up.

I am finishing the reconstruction of a 5,000 sq ft. house with about 125 insteon devices. It is going well. The electrical contractor tried to convince me to go with Control 4. I looked at it and use it for my A/V systems, but for home automation I stick with Insteon. Thank you, Insteon.

Ultimate accessibility and reliability

The 2477S iOS available in different wattage ratings of 600,1200, and 1800watts. Controllable through the app with hub makes the accessibility immediate from anywhere

Works Great

I liked the new style with only two LED’s rather than the multi which is now reserved for Dimmers. Was easy to add to my system.

Flickering led

I have a customer with led wafer lights and they flicker. Have not experienced this before any help would be appreciated. Thanks Rick
