Ceiling Fan and Light Control Module

I have five Insteon fan controllers throughout my house, and they have met my expectations in terms of functionality and ease of use. Setting up these controllers was straightforward. Once installed, they have performed flawlessly, providing convenient control over the ceiling fans in various rooms.

One area where the Insteon website could improve is providing more detailed information about compatibility. It would be beneficial if the product description explicitly stated the types of ceiling fans it is compatible with, including those with chain pulls, to avoid any confusion during the purchasing process.

Another aspect that could use more coverage is the programming capabilities of both the fan controllers and the keypads. While I found the setup intuitive overall, having detailed up-to-date instructions on programming different fan speeds and integrating them with Insteon keypads would be beneficial for users who want to fully customize their home automation setup.

Overall, I am highly satisfied with the Insteon fan controllers. They have proven to be reliable, versatile, and a great addition to my smart home setup. If you're looking for an easy-to-install solution to upgrade your ceiling fan controls, I would definitely recommend considering Insteon.

I used this to replace an old fan link device that recently went out. This new device will not work with the light bulbs that I have and keeps shutting off. Had to take one of the three light bulbs out in order to get the device to work regularly. It shouldn't have had any issue as it is replacing the same device.

Insteon products have changed my life. My entire home is automated and tied to my Alexa system, which I control by voice. I even use the Alexa system in my car to control things when I'm not home. I could not be happier!

I have a few of these in the house. They tend to die more frequent than expected, and have to be replaced every 4-5 years. Also the tech and size hasn't changed in decades. I wish the controller itself was a bit smaller, as it almost doesn't fit inside the fan housing without cramming everything into the hole. For the price point, I expect better quality. A decrease in size, and increase in efficiency and longevity would be greatly appreciated.

I now have 3 of these units in my home. The remote units that came with my fans were subject to turning on and off at random. I'm not sure what frequency they were on, but once I converted 2 of these 3 fans to Insteon there were no more false trips. This year I finally converted the third fan to Insteon. What a joy to now be able to dim the light and control the fan speed just using a couple of buttons on my Mini-Remote!
