Wall mount your Mini Remote on any wall. Simply mount the wall bracket with included screws and cover with a decorator wallplate (sold separately), then snap-in your Mini Remote. Works with any decorator wallplate although we recommend the Aspire screwless wallplates.

Multiple brackets can be mounted side-by-side, allowing you to have 2, 3 or more Mini Remotes in a single location.

Want to mount Mini Remote next to an existing switch? No problem! Just purchase a multi-gang wallplate and mount the bracket to the back of it, screw the wallplate in place and snap Mini Remote into the opening.

Insteon is a Superior Product.

I have been playing with Home Automation since the X-10 was introduced.
Insteon has proven to be an incredibly dependable platform. Out of over 60 switches and controls I have only had one failure in 6 years. And that was more than likely due to a lightning strike in the very near vicinity.

A wireless remote that works!

I couldn't stand my X-10 controlled master closet closet lights. I installed a wall switch that controls my closet lights from a point in my attic, a wall switch in the bedroom and a wireless remote switch in the closet. After programming the three way setup (which is the hardest but doable part) we now have switching that works - every time! The replaced X-10 system was similar but gremlins made it so flakey my wife and I never know when the lights would be on or if we could even get them to go on and off at our command. This Insteon stuff is solid. I am so glad I discovered it. I am now telling all my friends about it.

Update ! Recieved direction.on how to solve the issue. 😃
Just received 3 wall mount plates for the mini remotes. And like the previous review, the **** holes are too big and don’t even work with any standard wall plate like Leviton or one from Home Depot. Maybe the description should include verbiage saying they require a specific wall plate. And no response to the previous review with any direction👎🏼

Incompatible with common screwless wallplates

Nice idea, but the screwhole doesn't fit standard Us Screwless wallplates- the hole is slightly bigger (metric?) which means you must use an insteon wallplate to fit. Tested screws from an insteon-branded wallaplate and it works fine. Of course- no idea where else you could find these specialty screws- they are tiny and clearly not US electrical standard. If you are going to use nonstandard screws, at least include them in the kit or sell as a set with the proper wallplate. As it is, the 1-gang white wall plates have been out of stock for a year- so $30 wasted on these remote holders.
