Long time user

The modules are working just as my old appliance links of 18 years did.
I still need to program into the all on mode. I use them for the 5 quiet cool whole house fan we use to cool the house down.

Recent Purchase

I purchased a On/Off Module for my Extended WiFi Router. In the past my extended router did not reconnect to my main Gateway when service dropped or power dropped off. Using on/off switch, I am able to reboot extended router so it can reconnect to my gateway.

Hi Bradley, that's a great solution. Thanks for sharing this with the community. We appreciate your support!

Modules automated our great room

I used 5 on/off modules and one micro switch to automated the lighting on our greatroom. Using a scene, my wife can turn on lighting needed during the day and an additional scene for lighting after dark. The micro was installed in a cavity of a lamp base since the floor outlet would not accommodate a plug-in module.

Lamp on off

I used this to connect to a bedside lamp. In turn, I also purchased the mini-remote, which a d-taped on my bedside table, where the lamp is. In this way, my hub will turn on my bedroom lamp in the evening, so that when I arrive after work and head to my bedroom, the lamp has lit the room more effectively than using the overhead room lights. When I'm ready to go to sleep, I simply tap the mini-remote to turn the lamp off. This easier that extending my arm awkwardly to turn the lamp off manually via the little switch in the lamp neck.

Reliably does the job

I have purchased 2 of these units to control 2 appliances in hard to access areas. The best example is the cable TV box I have on a shelf that is 10 feet high. (Putting the WiFi modem/router up high for good coverage drove that decision.)
Cable TV boxes consume significant amounts of power when off (phantom power). I only use the TV in that location occasionally. The Insteon on/off module makes it easy to save that power and convenient to watch that TV.
