If you’ve determined that your Insteon PLM hardware has failed, you now have an option to have it repaired to the latest factory specifications.

Shipping cost outside of the US is not included.

Please read the detailed instructions below before adding this item to your cart.

How does the process work?

  1. Add the item to your cart based on your location (USA or Canada - shipping costs are included in the price)

  2. Complete the checkout process

  3. Once the order has been completed, print out a copy of the confirmation email. On the printout, please include a phone number to reach you in the event that is necessary.

  4. Pack up your Insteon PLM into a padded envelope or box and include the print out of your order confirmation. Please do not include any interface cables. Save them for when you receive your return.

  5. Using your preferred shipping method, send to:

  6. PLM repairs will be performed on a first-in, first-out basis. Our goal is to have your PLM returned to you in 14 business days. However, this may take longer depending upon demand for the service.

Please note: Depending upon the cause and extent of the hardware failure, we are not able to guarantee PLMs can be fully refurbished. This is especially true if you’ve attempted your own repairs. If this is the case, you will be notified by customer support. Your refurbishment fee will be refunded and your PLM will be environmentally recycled. If you want your PLM returned to you, you will be refunded less the shipping charges to return your device ($10 USA / $20 Canada).

Shipping & Returns


Shipping costs are calculated based on location and are available when checking out.

Orders placed with FedEx Intl Priority, FedEx 2 Day, or FedEx Overnight by 10am PT (Monday-Friday, non-holiday) are expected to ship same day.  Orders placed after 10am PT are expected to ship the following business day. All other orders are expected to ship within 2 business days

Customers shipping to Canada will be responsible for all duties and import fees which will be due upon receipt.

Returns & Exchanges

New Products

New items have a 30-day return window and are warrantied for 2 years from the purchase date.

Refurbished Products

Refurbished items are guaranteed to be in good working condition but may have physical imperfections and/or may not include original packaging and documentation. If the product fails to work, you may exchange it for like product within 30 days of receipt.

Clearance Products

Clearance items are sold as-is and do not carry a warranty.
